Madison Star , the daughter of Iconic Wardrobe Stylist Misa Hylton, is creating her own lane.
From designing her clothing pieces for Howard Homecoming fashion shows to now featuring her Madison Star Couture pieces in Fashion Bomb Daily New York Fashion Week show. While, she doubled up by performing her songs in the NYFW show .
She has been making waves and performing at many music festivals throughout New York City, the Tri state area including Piano’s NYC bar, and Brooklyn Music Kitchen. Just to name a few. . Madison Star is capturing the attention of audiences nationwide.
She was recognized by her Alma Mater ,Howard University, for her contributions as a service leader and creative, alongside fellow lyricist and poet Lady London.
Rapping over Iconic flows like Biggie’s Story to Tell beat ,Lil Wayne’s Lollipop beat , and Bronx Native, Remy’s Ma’s beat . Madison Star adds her own unique rap flow,twist, and flavor to her rhymes.

Tamara O: What feelings do you want your music to evoke when the listeners, and fans tune in ?
Madison Star: I want my listeners and supporters to feel empowered and inspired when they tune into my music. I want them to feel like their world is expanding and that they’re traveling through the sound of my music.
T.O : Where do you get your creative inspiration and ideas from?
M.S: I am inspired by many things. Inspiration is everywhere all around me. Recently, I’ve been inspired by the strength and resilience of the women in my family and how they’ve overcome the obstacles that they’ve faced to live full and meaningful lives.
T.O: What practices help you maintain your wellness as a multi-hyphenated entrepreneur?
M.S.I believe in the power of prayer, affirmations, and, most importantly, slowing down. Reminding myself that there’s enough time for my success to meet me on the path of my destiny .It helps me take a purposeful pause, while pursuing my passions.
T.O: What are some beauty products you are loving right now, and how do you incorporate them into your beauty routine ?
M.S: I’m loving blush! I’ve recently re-incorporated it into my routine, and I love the warm and flirty energy it brings to a beat face.
I also love the hair care brand African Pride. They use natural ingredients, and are affordable, yet effective.
T.O: Can you share with the audience what we can look forward to next from you?
M.S: My debut project, Vindicated, is coming soon, and it’s definitely a body of work that you do not want to miss!
