Rihanna is a style icon that has pushed the fashion envelope in more ways than one. With her hair a constant changing canvas, Vogue magazine’s Plum Sykes spent a day with the bad gyal in hopes of achieving “The Rihanna Effect.”

The fashion forward cover star kept her hair relatively simple as she adorned an all black, pixied cut bringing her features to the forefront. At the beginning of their meeting, RiRi clues the Vogue writer on her hair secret.

“It’s not my hair, but the girl who donated it, she’s the bomb,” she says before showing her natural hair braided underneath the net. “I have two main hair people I work with.

They’re always with me. I’m like, ‘I’m bored! I wanna change my hair!’ That’s the good thing about a weave. You can do whatever with it.”
